Last year's "Beyond Quantum" album by Anthony Braxton/Milford Graves/William Parker (Tzadik, 2008) is one of the most exciting contemporary free jazz albums I have heard in a long time. All five tracks are freely improvised and impeccably produced by Bill Laswell. A real tour-de-force by a brilliant trio and an absolutely essential release!
